JTL eBay feature generator

Use feature data from eBay listings yourself

The mission of this episode is to use feature data from eBay listings with the help of the JTL eBay feature generator. We present our tool, which will be available in eBakery Shop from now on. What are the advantages and how the whole thing works, you can see in our video.

JTL eBay feature generator - export features easily

There is something new in our eBakery online store that we do not want to withhold from you. We are talking about the JTL eBay feature generator. We had already informed you about our product crawler in advance. The recommended products can be purchased now in our store. These are digital products, affiliate products and classic services.
Therefore, check out the video description, click on the link and take a look.

This is how the JTL eBay feature generator works

But how does our tool work?
What we often see with our customers is that not all relevant features are maintained. Thus, these fields are then also ultimately not set during the article import in JTL-Wawi. For eBay itself, this can mean that you are giving away potential, since the item is then naturally not displayed for the search engine filter. Let’s assume a pair of jeans and the characteristic “material” is not set. Now if the customer goes to and specifically looks for a pair of corduroy jeans, he will not find yours.
Now it would be an immense amount of time to manually maintain the features for all your items. But you don’t need that at all, thanks to our feature generator. All you have to do is find the right product, run the generator and you will receive a JTL-Wawi compliant CSV file with all relevant features, which you can then enter directly into JTL-Wawi.

A practical example

To better visualize the whole thing, here is a small example. We take a random product, like this razor. What we would need from you is this EAN. This would then be entered into our feature generator and you will end up with a CSV file that will look like this. In the first column the EAN, in the second the characteristic type such as color, weight, gender and then behind it the respective value. The good thing about the eBakery JTL eBay feature generator is the fact that the values are not crawled from one offer, but several offers to ensure a certain data quality.
You can then enter this CSV file into JTL-Wawi and receive qualitative feature data in eBay itself during the next reconciliation. If there are any questions about this, feel free to post them in the comments. Otherwise, as a JTL service partner, we at eBakery will also help you with any related challenges, such as setting up eatyAuction or implementing the CSV file. Our matching page is linked at the top right, where you can then also make an appointment with our experts.
