This article should be fully about finding lucrative products. In other words, products that are currently in demand and therefore sell well. I’m about to show you a method how you can find out for Shopify, but eventually also all other store systems. Two specific tools will help you with this, which I will now bring closer to you.
But now to the product research. One of the best sites for just this purpose is Minea. Minea is a product and ad spy tool. That means you can enter an industry term and Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok Ads will be shown to you, from advertisers who sell products. But the search term is not the only filter option. You can set a specific time period for which only the respective ads will be displayed. I would also recommend this to you, as you don’t want to pick up trends from last year, but only want to consider ads that go back a maximum of 5 weeks. You’ll get really meaningful data mainly for Shopify stores, as we’re about to use another tool that diligent viewers will already know. That’s why we choose Shopify as the filter. However, you want only successful campaigns to be displayed. One indicator of this would be likes. But how many you consider successful is subjective. For this video we choose once the limit at 300. But what we don’t want are campaigns for “Learn more” or “Watch more” call to actions, but only “Shop Now” campaigns that then also lead us to the Shopify store.
After the filter allows only relevant ads, we can look at the stats of the respective videos. You can see the progress of the campaign by day, you can see which target group this product appeals to, subdivided by gender, age group and country. But that is not the only thing. If you have found a successful campaign, you can view all advertising campaigns from this advertiser. This will give you ideas for your own Facebook / TikTok or Pinterest videos, as well as product ideas, and an overview of who your target audience should be. But how do we know whether the product will sell well? Under the Audience Age Stats, you will find a link that will take you directly to the product. So quasi the link that is integrated in the ad as a CTA. What comes into play now is the PPSPY tool. If you don’t know this one yet and want to know where to get it, it’s linked here again. The quick answer is: You get a behind-the-scenes look at any Shopify store with this tool.
You can see when this product was last sold, if it is one of the top sales, when it was created, at what price it is offered and much more. Accordingly, you can track this store for a while and see how many sales are generated per day. If this product is not suitable for you, you can use the PPSPY Top Sale function to find other products that perform better. At the end, note your findings and go back Minea. From here you can then use the Image AI tool to find the product on AliExpress and see if the reference merchant’s margin would be high enough. Write us in the comments how you find the tool. We are curious. What we have just used is the Free version, let’s see what the Starter and Premium plan offers you. You will receive 300 credits at the beginning with the registration, which you can then use for the research. If these are used up, you cannot search any further. With the Starter Plan you will receive 10,000 credits. And can only browse Facebook Ads and the ones given here. Not included here are TikTok and Pinterest. These are instead obtained in the Premium plan, which also gives you 100,000 credits including store analysis and influencer analysis, which are two more very powerful tools.
