Yesterday I posted about a supposed error with the installation of the new JTL-Wawi. As always, the real problem is 20 cm in front of the screen. Or to put it better, those who can read have a clear advantage.

But here is the resolution:

When reinstalling JTL-Wawi, a new database eazybuisiness.mdf is created after the installation. Until now, you didn’t have to worry about the installation at this point, because it was basically created in the correct SQL Server instance and the associated path to the database files. This was easy even for non-IT professionals. Now things look a bit different, as you can see in the screenshot below.

In window JTL database management under Create client the input window for the “Other database settings” in the closed mode. Here the window with a click on the arrow in front of it the fields for the storage location of the database expand and with the button Browse the paths for the database file *mdf and the log file *.ldf deposit. In the normal case with a standard single place installation and the Instance ID JTLWAWI is the path for both files: “C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.JTLWAWI\MSSQL\DATA“.

Otherwise, the installation process continues as usual.
