Control your JTL store from JTL-Wawi using text attributes
How to control your JTL-Shop 5 by attributes from the JTL-Wawi, we show you in this screencast tutorial. Using the text attribute “tab 1 name” and “tab 1 content” we will show you how to create new tabs in your JTL store using attributes.
JTL Shop 5 control by attributes: Attribute is not equal to attribute
This video is about a very important function for the JTL Shop 5 that you can control via your Wawi. Meant are the attributes. But attribute is not equal to attribute. A distinction is made between text attributes and function attributes. Function attributes are used – as the name suggests – to control your online store. A standard example for the JTL store would be for example. the attribute “Free gift from”. That is the data type would be integer, the attribute name “free gift from” and with the value you can then determine from which amount this function would be activated.

How to control your JTL store 5 through attributes
Here we find our product in the category of dietary supplements. A very popular addition to this, of course, are the ingredients. We create these by double clicking on our item and going into our attributes and characteristics. We want to assign an attribute to the product, so we click on it and find the corresponding attribute for the JTL store. We first select Tab 1 name. We want to enter the whole thing in German, namely ingredients. Save and secondly go back to Assign Attributes and determine the contents of this tab. So click on“tab 1 content” and enter the desired text. Save again and save the changes to our item master data as well. Now we perform a store comparison by clicking on the online store icon and go back to the store frontend. As you can see here now, the tab has been added. Now the customer can see the ingredients of this protein powder exactly in the right place
