How to make your JTL Shop 5 B2B secure

In this JTL Shop 5 article we want to make your store B2B secure. We will show you how to create a specific customer group for retailers only, how to display net prices for them only and how to create and display graduated prices – everything that makes the B2B heart beat faster.

Preparations to create a customer group correctly

That’s why we’ll start right away in the JTL-Wawi. To create a separate customer group only for e.g. To create a Nutrition dealer, go to the menu bar under Customers and click on Customer groups.
Click on “Create” to create a new customer group and give it the name Nutrition dealer.
We want to play out this net price and now simply enter the same designation for all languages. At the end just go to save.
In order for this customer group to be effective in your online store, we deposit it. So double click on the online store menu item and our connected store to edit it and checkmark the Nutrition dealer customer group. We click Ok and match our online store.

JTL-Shop 5 B2B: Play out net prices and create graduated prices

Now to add a reference customer to this group of customers, we go to Customers and select our loyal customer Harry Hirsch. We select the Nutrition dealer group twice, update the data in the online store and save the whole thing. Thus, the dealer Harry Hirsch is in the newly created customer group. This we want to display our protein powder once net prices, which is already set here, but can also be changed back to gross and we want to integrate scale prices. We offer our powder from 10 pieces for 48€ and from 20 for 46€ the piece. However, since net prices are played out, season 1 should be displayed at 41.38€ and season two at 39.66€. Save again and run the online store comparison. We do the test beforehand and go to our store on the protein powder without a customer account. We are offered this normal for 50€ incl. Sales tax displayed. However, if we log in as Harry Hirsch, the net price and the graduated prices are displayed. Thus, our project has succeeded in our JTL store 5 of a specific B2B customer group to display net prices separately, as well as to play out graduated prices.
