Products are offered in different units of measurement. If not already created during installation, the units should be created now. To do this, click on Settings -> General Settings -> Units in the menu.

The Unit window is structured in the same way as the Merchandise categories window. Here, too, units can be added, edited and deleted. To create new units click on “Add…”.

JTL-Wawi is available as software only in German language, but supports multilingual webshops. You can see this here because there are two columns. One for the language and one for the designation. In the Designation column, enter “pcs.” for piece directly and complete the entry by clicking OK.

Now we are ready to create the first products. You can now close the “Unit” window.
