With the new Wawi, the management of the connection to the database has been outsourced to a new screen, the database management. The direct call for performing database backups in the JTL-wawi menu is therefore no longer available. To perform a backup of a client, call up the Database administration entry here in the JTL-wawi menu item.

In the JTL database administration you must first log in with the user sa and his password.

In the client overview, select the client you want to save, e.g. eB-Standard, and click Next.

In the Edit Clients step, you now select the database function that you want to perform with the selected client. Here you click DB Export and then click Next.

If you have installed SQL Server Express Edition of SQL Server 2008 / 2012, leave all default settings in the Export Clients step and click Start.

After successfully backing up the database, you should also see two green check marks as in the screenshot below. With a click on Done, you can now exit the JTL database administration.
