What's new?
The new JTL-Wawi 1.9 is now available for all online retailers to download in Open Beta. A reason for us to see what the new version has to offer. There are improvements here not only for the desktop version, but also for JTL-Wawi Mobile. You can find out more in the following video.

If you go to the domain you are currently familiar with: https://www.jtl-software.de/jtl-wawi-download, you will see that something new is ready for you. JTL-Wawi 1.9 is currently available for download in Open Beta. So in this article, we take a look at what has changed.

If you have installed version 1.9 and are now testing it outside of active customer operation as a test system, you can look forward to the following 3 main points in addition to stability and performance improvements. On the one hand, BOM components can now finally be included in the entire output within a separate report container. can be formatted. This includes quotations, orders, delivery bills, invoices and invoice corrections.
JTL-Wawi 1.9 - New features for Plan & Produce
In JTL-Plan&Produce, the production tool from JTL, which we have already gone through in detail in the linked article, free text variations for production items are now transferred to the production order as process parameters and displayed in JTL-Workbench. This was not possible before in this form. But that is not the only improvement to the production items. Now the purchase price can also be calculated for these as with ‘normal’ parts lists using the components.
JTL-Wawi 1.9 - JTL-Wawi Mobile has also been optimized
So much for the key points of the desktop version. However, diligent viewers of our channel will know from our videos that the Wawi is now also available for smartphones. Since version 1.9, contact persons can now also be added, edited or deleted. This applies to the “Customer” area, but also to the delivery and billing addresses. But you can not only manage them, you can also call them directly from the app and contact them by email.
The new offer overview
If you have previously worked with the 1.8 mobile version, you may also have found the offer overview confusing. The 1.9 shines with a new offer overview that allows offers to be quickly identified and processed. Canceled orders are also shown as such in the order overview and can now be filtered specifically.
