Overwhelming feedback on JTL
In the days and weeks that followed, their email inboxes nearly burst. Their invoicing program was very well received and the community was already very active at that time. Positive feedback, suggestions for improvement and feature requests all came in hand and the Lisson brothers were happy to take it all on board. Much was implemented more or less quickly, until one day the eBay interface was added.
Long programming time for quick sale
The eBay interface was incredibly extensive at the time. Since the brothers could both only program in their spare time, many months went by before the interface was finally ready for use. This also enjoyed great popularity and the number of auctions via the combination Wawi and eBay interface quickly cracked the 50,000 mark.
When the two found a similar interface, they saw that there was some money to be made. So they offered their interface for small money and most of the users went for it. Of course, user feedback has always been important here as well, as this continues to provide the basis for their work.
The JTL fans offer support in the forum
Support needed more and more people, so a support forum was created. Those who had become more proficient with JTL-Wawi volunteered to help others in the forum around the clock. Of course, Janusch and Thomas Lisson were always there as well, but of course much more requests can be handled this way. The forum continues to be very actively used, offering newbies, switchers, and experienced users good tips, support, and a respectful tone.
Proposals are still accepted
Good tips and suggestions are taken and evaluated, as they have been since the beginning of game programming. Frequently requested changes and new features are added to the JTL Issue Tracker. Anyone can view this open ticket system and get a taste of what might be coming soon. Registered users can vote on the features listed. The more points a feature gets, the more likely it is to be implemented.
The JTL universe has grown significantly
Things are really taking off in 2015. JTL-Wawi 1.0 is released and a month later JTL-Workflows and JTL-Packing Table are added to cover more business cases. Shipping processes are accelerated, more customers are added and also more and more JTL service partners. The partners had been taking care of customer concerns around Forum for some time, so the introduction of official service partners was the next logical step.
