Manfred Obermeier wants to know quickly who bought which item when and in what quantity. A typical affair with many “W’s” and a rather stupid face at me, his IT fuzz. In such cases, one tends to think, sometimes aloud, “Who cares and how should I know?” In short, the Wawi knows and the boss wants to know. Okay then, let’s get to work.

We find the solution in the order management. We can reach this by clicking on the icon in the toolbar or simply by pressing the F6 function key. Below the toolbar are the search/filter functions for job management. Let’s take a look at what you can do with this. Let’s go through the fields from left to right.

  • (3) Company – In the first selection field you can select the company according to which the display of all orders should be limited.
  • Order No.: – This field can be used to search for all orders with a specific order number or part of it.
  • (2) Buyer name: – This field can be used to search for all orders with a specific company name, first name or last name or part of it.
  • Position: – This field can be used to search for all orders with a specific item name or part of it.
  • (1)Art.no.: (item number) – This field can be used to search for all orders with a specific item number or part of it.
  • Ser.no.: (serial number) – This field can be used to search for all orders with a specific item serial number or part of it.
  • Search – Use this button to perform the search. But it also works with the Enter key.
  • X – The search is reset and the fields are cleared.
  • < 01.1900 > – Date filter to display the orders of one month of the year.
  • Display: Selection filter to filter the view according to the following criteria
  • Without bills
  • With bills
  • Offers
  • Paid orders
  • Unpaid orders
  • Orders with shortage
  • Cancellation
  • Not delivered
  • Completely delivered
  • (5) Date – Use this checkbox to turn the date filter on (checked) or off.

If Manfred Obermeier now wants to know how many MTB-100 38 cm silver-grey were sold and who bought them and when, he only has to look under Art.No. enter the article number of the item and uncheck the date. All orders with this article and the total amount of the order (4) are already displayed in the. At the bottom (6) he still sees the number of orders with the total amount.

Conclusion

Orders can be filtered quickly and easily according to specific criteria using the search/filter functions. The main function here is certainly to be able to process customer inquiries quickly. For statistical purposes – racers and bums, for example – this form of evaluating my orders is certainly not suitable. But more on this secured later….
