JTL-Wawi: Create new user

To create a new user in JTL-Wawi, you must first have set up the program correctly and created a company. By the way, it is also recommended to create a new user for the standard mandates eB standard and to change the password of the user admin. The new user to be created is assigned to a specific group, for which specific rights can be predefined.

To get to the user administration via the JTL-Wawi menu, click on the “Admin” area in the main menu and select “Users / Rights” there:

You will now enter the general menu for editing users, rights and permissions. If you have just set up JTL-Wawi, you will only find the default admin here. All relevant settings can be made in this area, incl. of creating a new user in JTL-Wawi. Now click on “Create” to create a new user:

Now the following menu opens, where you enter all important data about the user, incl. of a user name that will be used later for login and a password for initial login. Also, please make sure that you assign the user to the correct company you created earlier and assign it to a correct user group with the desired permissions:

After clicking on “Save”, the new user should be displayed accordingly in the administration menu:

Now it is possible to log in to JTL-Wawi with the new user. As soon as the first login takes place, the user is asked once to change his password. The password preset by the admin, on the other hand, is intended only for the initial login:

The new user can now work with JTL-Wawi (within his set permissions). Of course, JTL’s Wawi is a very powerful tool that allows very extensive settings and this description covers only a “standard case”.
