How to avoid shipping returned goods

How you can block certain warehouses for delivery with JTL-Wawi 1.6 to avoid that damaged returned goods are sent to customers again, we will show you in this JTL-Wawi tutorial.

JTL-Wawi 1.6. Block warehouse for delivery - What is it good for?

You will probably also know it, the customer returns the goods and the packaging is for example. broken or the device has defects or dirt or similar. Then it would be fatal if the product were to go out of the warehouse again like that. Therefore, JTL-Wawi 1.6 now has its own new function, with which you can have these goods blocked for shipping in a special warehouse for returns, so that there is no risk in the first place. How to do that, you will learn in this video. First of all, here is what you can do if you have a problem with JTL-Shop, JTL-Wawi, JTL-WMS or other JTL products.

To create a new bearing

But now we take care of our returns warehouse issue and switch over to the Wawi. In the upper menu bar you go to the stock menu on “Stock” and you get the possibility to create a new one first, which you can then use for example. Returns warehouse calls. As you can see, the checkmark for blocking delivery is not yet set here by default. That means if we were to go into our shipping area and ship our order out now, it would be from the returns warehouse. Of course we don’t want that, so back to the stock settings and check the boxes. This allows us to check returned goods first and when they have been manually released, these goods can then be transferred back to the standard warehouse. This would then also release it again for the available stock.

The two newly added fields differ in that the checkmark at “Block for available stock” means that the goods are e.g. for eBay or Amazon is not transmitted as “available”, but is blocked. This means the item is visible to me in Wawi, but is not counted externally. The other check mark can be used to block an outbound delivery. So a shipment from the warehouse. A correction booking after checking the goods can of course be made, but no delivery to the customer. This was the new returns feature in JTL-Wawi 1.6.
