JTL-Wawi 1.6 Credit limit - How to determine it

In today’s episode we have the following Case. You want to define a certain credit limit for a certain customer, so that you will be informed when an order exceeds it. At the end, you can then decide whether to grant the order or to inform the customer and let him know that he is exceeding the limit. Setup in the Wawi

But now off to the Wawi. This time we need to go to the “Customers” section and choose a customer where we want to deposit a credit limit. As always, our regular customer Harry Hirsch will have to serve. So we go for its profile once in the detailed view by double-clicking. Here we see all the relevant data, as well as the new field for a credit limit. This we set once to 1000€ and save. In the lower section you can now create an order. For example, we pick out a monitor switch for 71.90€, which means we can easily sell him 12 pieces. If we save now, we will see that no problems or warnings will come up. However, if we now create another order on top, which then exceeds the credit limit, we will get a warning message. We are shown how high the credit limit is and by how much it has been exceeded. Now it is up to us to grant the order anyway or not.
