In online mail order, customers deposit their data in the online store. From there, the data from JTL-Shop 3 or another supported store system is then imported into JTL-Wawi. Depending on the company, it may well be necessary to enter customer data directly in the system. One option is to create a new customer directly in the instant order. Another is to create the customer in customer management and then create an order or quote for the customer.
You create new customers in the customer management [F4] by clicking on Add… below the customer list. below the customer list. Here you can also edit existing customers by selecting them first and clicking on Edit…. button. In both cases, the Customer Details window opens.
CustomerNo. – If you leave this field blank, the system will assign a separate customer number. However, you can also manually assign your own here.
The system recognizes when duplicate customer numbers are assigned and issues a corresponding error message. The customer number must then be adjusted to save.
Category – here you select a customer category for the customer. JTL-Wawi settings customer categories
Kd.group – here you select the customer group for the customer. JTL-Wawi settings customer groups
Block – by activating the checkbox, the customer will be blocked from further orders in the Wawi and in the store.
Cash customer – by activating the checkbox you activate the customer as a cash customer for LS-POS.
Newsletter – Activate customers for the newsletter from JTL store.
All other fields should be self-explanatory. Various information about the customer can be stored in them.
Between the fields Postcode and City you will find the button […] for the zip code search. JTL-Wawi Postal Codes Import
UstID – if the customer is a company subject to VAT, you can enter the UstID here and check it by clicking on the Check… button. via the online portal https://evatr.bff-online.de with an official confirmation message. No check possible for German VAT numbers.
Payment method – here you set the payment method for the customer.
