The central element of the purchase management in JTL-Wawi is the navigation. The sorting of the navigation corresponds to the process of purchasing. First, suppliers are created, to which the products from the product management are assigned. After that, the system can determine order proposals according to the following formula:

Quantity sold / period * days demand – quantity ordered + shortage

These order suggestions can be added to the shopping list with manual adjustments. Afterwards, this shopping list can be sent to the supplier as a price request. The suppliers’ offers can now be entered into JTL-Wawi to determine the cheapest or fastest supplier and to trigger the orders at the supplier. In the purchase orders you have an overview of the open, released, in-process, partially delivered and completed purchase orders. In addition, you can still send your suppliers backorder reminders and manage the open, sent and completed dropshipping orders. Upon delivery of the goods, you have the possibility to post your incoming invoices and monitor the payment of your supplier invoices.
