Customers want to know if they will receive an item immediately or if it is only available on order and therefore a longer delivery time is to be expected. This information is stored under delivery status.
How to maintain the delivery statuses in your JTL-Wawi I show you here (I looked up extra in the dictionary here and the plural of status is actually status).
You can access the delivery status management via Settings → General settings → Delivery status. You can create a new delivery status by clicking on “Add…” and you can change existing ones by clicking on “Edit…”. change. You can remove delivery statuses that you no longer need by clicking on “Delete”.
Unfortunately, both delivery status management windows have the same name. Click Add to open the window for creating and editing the delivery status. Under Languages you will find all the languages that you have created under Settings → Languages. By clicking in the fields under Designation you can specify a designation for the delivery status for the respective language. Here for example “Immediately available” in German and “Available now” as English designation.
With “Ok” you save your entries. I have here in my test environment the delivery statuses
- Available immediately,
- To order and
- In the inflow
created.
Your entries will be visible to you in when you create articles. In the General tab of the Item Details window, under Stock / Other, you can now store the delivery status for each item. This information is of course also transmitted to JTL-Shop2/Shop3 during the webshop comparison.
