How to enable overselling in the JTL store

If you still want to try, you can use JTL to calculate the exact delivery time. For example, if you are at 0 and enter dropshipping, the time of the dropshipping supplier will be calculated. However, you must remember that the responsibility also lies with the supplier. So you yourself can’t 100% guarantee that everything will go smoothly.
In your own online store is worth the plugin
If it is about your own online store, you have of course completely different possibilities. Here you take responsibility and have full control. Even if there is a delay in delivery, you can handle things very differently than you would in a marketplace. Because you will certainly not impose a punishment on yourself. However, customer satisfaction should always come first, so if there is a delay in delivery, you should definitely apologize to the customer and possibly offer them a discount. So for the store it is worth to activate the plugin “Allow overselling”. This way you can sell more in the JTL store without enabling overselling on Amazon or eBay.
Other settings remain unaffected
In addition, you can determine for which articles exactly the plugin should apply. Stock traffic light and the availability text can be adjusted, while all other settings in the store and in your inventory management remain untouched. So if you have a good supplier or you know that you can get goods quickly, even if they are currently sold out in your store, the “Allow oversells” plugin offers you great opportunities to generate more sales. You decide how you use it and for which items you use it. As long as you’re a little careful with the marketplaces, you’ll get real value delivered that way.
