Shipment tracking directly in JTL-Wawi

JTL Track&Trace - What is it?
But what is Track and Track now?
The short answer is the tracking module for shipping, which by the way includes more than just DHL. The longer answer is taken from the JTL documentation.
You would like to track the shipping status of your packages directly in JTL-Wawi. To do this, use JTL Track&Trace. In order to use tracking in JTL-Wawi, you need to book a tariff for JTL-Track&Trace beforehand.
This means that we face 3 hurdles. We need a running Wawi, a supported shipping service provider and the necessary module. How to install and set up your Wawi, you can see in the video above right. The other two things we answer in the customer center.
How to book JTL Track&Trace
The modules can be found in the product area under “Association modules”. Here you can see the just mentioned “JTL Track & Track”. Now it is also clear which shipping service providers are supported. DHL, GLS and DPD. Also to be considered are the version numbers of the Wawi. For example, GLS will supported only from the 1.6 Wawi version. How to update your Wawi 1.5 to 1. 6 or 1 .6 to 1.7 can be seen in the two linked videos. The use of the modules is primarily free of charge up to 100 packages. Everything above that is staggered from 14.99 – 149.99€ depending on how much package it is per month. If you have not yet started the trial period, you can take advantage of it for 14 days. Then you will see a green button in the customer center, on which you have to click.
Setup in JTL-Wawi
But how do you set up the whole thing in JTL-Wawi?
This is done quite quickly. After you have booked the tariff or started the test phase, go to Shipping and Track & Trace in the Wawi. Click continue here and make sure that you have booked the license in the correct customer center. Refreshes the whole thing and starts the authorization. The whole thing should look like this in the end. Now click on continue again and select for which shipping methods you want to activate Track & Track. Then click Next again and you’re done. You will only be told that the JTL worker should be started so that the shipment tracking can regularly retrieve from the shipping service provider. You can then view all track & trace shipping data here in the shipping tab.
