How to set up JTL Vouchers
How you can create and manage vouchers / coupons with JTL and use the new JTL Vouchers coupon system, we show you in this tutorial. The first step is the setup, i.e. license booking, rights management and login to the web portal. How to do it, we show in this video.
What is JTL Vouchers?
This episode is about a brand new topic, namely JTL Vouchers or the standalone voucher system from JTL software. On the matching JTL page you can already see what this can do. With it you can create both single-purpose and multi-purpose vouchers, but you are not necessarily bound to JTL products, but can also work with third-party systems, you can then issue vouchers both digitally and printed and specify the design individually. This makes it the perfect tool for omnichannel. The module will cost you only 19,99€ per month, but you can generate vouchers for JTL-Wawi, JTL-Shop and JTL-POS.

However, before this becomes possible, JTL-Vouchers must first be set up. How to do that, I’ll show you in this video, so watch until the end. JTL Vouchers - The Setup
Like other JTL products, the whole thing is managed in the customer center. So sign up for that here, click on “Products” and then you’ll see the black icon for “Coupons”, which is where we’re going. Then click on JTL Vouchers. Then with you here will be the possibility to buy. Acquires a license for JTL Vouchers at the site. If you have done this, it will also be displayed at this point. Now it goes to the administration. You can create employee accounts to which you then assign ready-made roles with rights configurations. This will then also provide employees with PIN’s they need to log into JTL Vouchers.
The roles & rights management for JTL vouchers
To implement this, go to “My account” and “Employee access roles & rights”. In your case, it will most likely look like this. In order to assign the roles, Eide two-factor authentication must be enabled first. This means that an admin e-mail will be stored, to which a code will be sent, with which one can then only log in to the central user administration in the future. So click on 2FA setup wizard. Then enter here a trusted email address, to which preferably only they or selected employees have access only. Then click on “Save & Send PIN”. The PIN will be sent to this e-mail address, which you have to enter in the next step to activate the central user administration.
How to create multiple employees
With this, the already mentioned roles and rights assignment can begin. This can be found in the user administration. Here, status roles of a typical company are already predefined, which are then also assigned different rights accordingly. You can remove default roles or customize them. If you want to create your own role, you can do so with the button below. You can then assign these own or standard roles to employees in the lowest field. To do this, you can also create a new employee here by clicking on “Assign employee”. Then the name of the employee is entered here, and below that the personal e-mail address, as well as one or more of the roles just discussed, incl. the name of the employee. rights can be assigned. If you want to activate it directly, click on “Activate access” and save. The personal PIN will then be displayed directly.
What to do if the PIN has been forgotten?
If you have forgotten your voucher PIN, it can also be displayed and remembered here under “Select action” and “Display voucher PIN”. Because this is important to be able to log in to the vouchers area. By the way, this PIN remains valid until you click on Show Vouchers PIN in the User Management area and execute the command “Generate new PIN”. However, this can only be done by the admin, i.e. the one who enters the two-factor authenticated area. Now we go to the web portal for JTL vouchers. You can access it with the URL: “vouchers.jtl-software.com”. There you click on “Login” and you will see a similar login screen as in the customer center. You must now enter the employee access data here. So your e-mail address and your personal PIN. And thus you are registered in the web portal for JTL vouchers.
