JTL-Wawi workflow "Create order colors

Automated color coding for your orders

With the JTL-Wawi workflow “Create order colors” you can bring a little more structure and clarity into your merchandise management. In this tutorial you will learn how to create color codes automatically for the orders of your choice.

More structure and order for JTL-Wawi

Since some have asked for more workflows for JTL-Wawi, we implement that for you in this video. Our goal today is therefore to bring a little more structure into the Wawi. One or the other will know it, when the overview slowly gets lost due to the amount of orders. If you make changes there quickly, it first ends up in a long search process. To shorten this, you can work with colors for the sake of clarity. We’ll switch over to the Wawi and show you how to assign a color to your orders.

JTL-Wawi workflow "Create order colors" - assign color codes manually

To do this, you need to go to “Sale” in the top menu and click on “Order colors”. Here you can choose a color and define it. As a small spoiler in advance: we want to use a color right away to create a workflow that this color is automatically assigned for orders with a gross total price. This is a practical example. How you color your orders in the end is up to you. We will show you this only once by way of example. Since we don’t have any orders in our test-Wawi, I’ll show you how to assign the color manually using an immediate order. You will see at the very bottom of this window the possibility to assign a color to each job.

However, we don’t want to do the whole thing manually, but automated. That’s why we go to our admin area on the JTL workflows as usual. Since this is supposed to be an order-based workflow, we go to orders. Now it is up to you for which event you create a workflow. For our example, it would be a newly created order with a defined gross total amount. To do this, we first go to “Create workflow” and give it a name. Our condition refers to the payments and namely total gross amount, this is equal to 200. If this condition is met, the action “Color coding” should be triggered. namely “Cyan”. Save at the end. As mentioned in the other videos, if this workflow only refers to the Wawi and not the WMS or JTL Packing Table+, then you can take that out at that point. Otherwise, this is how it should look in the end.
