What is JTL-eazyAuction

Connect Amazon and eBay with JTL-Wawi

In this JTL-eazyAuction video we explain how you can connect marketplaces like Amazon and eBay to JTL. JTL-eazyAuction creates a connection between JTL-Wawi and the marketplaces to synchronize any data automatically. What the add-on module “JTL-Repricer” has to offer, you will also learn in this video.

Review of JTL Customer Center and JTL-Wawi Video

The last episodes were about the JTL Customer Center, registration and JTL products. First, we took a closer look at JTL-Wawi as the flagship. For this blog, it’s the turn of the marketplace area, i.e. JTL-eazyAuction. You will find the list of JTL products when you are logged in to the JTL Customer Center and go to the main area “Products”. As you can see, licenses and tariffs for JTL-eazyAuction itself and for the JTL-Repricer can be purchased here. If you click on the former, you will get a tariff overview. But first of all for better classification – What is JTL-eazyAuction anyway?

What is JTL-eazyAuction ?

JTL-eazyAuction connects the marketplaces Amazon & eBay with JTL. Yesterday we learned that pretty much all processes run through JTL-Wawi as a data pool and administration unit. This is also the case here. That means with eazyAuction a connection between JTL-Wawi and the marketplaces is created, so that among other things the maintained data can be easily transferred over and you can sell there without time-consuming item creation. On a side note, for you as a merchant who want to sell on other marketplaces like ManoMano, Kaufland, Rewe, METRO or OTTOmarket, the ideal and above all secure solution is Unicorn 2 from marcos software.

What is JTL-eazyAuction ? - The tariff system

The tariff system is quite simple and is based on the number of monthly transactions on the Amazon and/or eBay marketplaces. Up to 100 transactions you only pay a monthly fee of €15.99 and 15 cents per additional transaction. At 10000, it would be the rate New 10000, which would give you 299€, but only 4 cents per additional transaction. If you don’t want to worry about that at all, because you’ll get over it anyway, then a flat rate plan is also available for 399€. If you sell seasonal products, you may be able to benefit from the flex tariff. At the end of each month, the system looks at how many transactions have been made and then selects the appropriate tariff. If you are not yet convinced, but interested, then you can also test JTL-eazyAuction 14 days free of charge. If you need help with the setup, we at eBakery will be happy to help you as a JTL service partner. However, if you want to try it on your own, here are the respective docs linked once for Amazon and once for eBay. Now let’s take a detailed look at what eazyAuction covers.

What is JTL-eazyAuction ? - The functions

The central control can run completely from the merchandise management system. This means that you can synchronize offers, orders & stocks in the Wawi at any time or use JTL-Worker to automate the synchronization. Furthermore, any number of Amazon accounts are supported, as well as Amazon VCS. But not only can data go out of Wawi, it can also go in. This means that existing Amazon offers are automatically read in. Sales themselves, i.e. orders, cancellations and returns are also registered and processed in JTL-Wawi. After the sale and shipment logically reduces the stock. This is also adjusted automatically. It does not matter whether it is your own warehouse or an FBA warehouse. As mentioned several times now, the processes can be automated if set up correctly thanks to JTL-Worker, JTL-Workflows within Wawi and JTL-Ameise. The same applies to eBay, but it is supplemented by the use of individual design templates for adherence to the company’s own CI.

JTL-Repricer - The two strategies

From our JTL-Wawi video we already know extension modules. For eazyAuction there are not quite so many. To be exact, only the JTL repricer for Amazon. Because selling successfully on Amazon also means always keeping an eye on the competition and adjusting prices accordingly. From JTL-Wawi, certain conditions can then be set for the repricer, which the repricer then takes into account. On the one hand, either the buy-boy strategy or competitor ASIN strategy can be implemented by the repricer. The buy-box strategy involves finding a compromise between undercutting the price of the current buy-box owner on the one hand and keeping the margin as high as possible on the other. However, if you are a private label merchant, then competitor ASINs with similar products can be specified and thus the price of your own product can be dynamically adjusted in relation to competitor products. Up to 20 third-party products can be specified here. The whole thing can also be used for free for 14 days first and then costs between 9.99€ to 99 offers up to 1,199€ for up to 500,000 offers, depending on the number of offers. If this is not yet completely clear, you can take a look at this example calculation.
