JTL-Wawi Workflow "Regular customers from 1000€" - What does the automatism regulate?

We are dedicated to a new workflow. If you missed the blog about the JTL-Wawi workflow basics and the meta-data workflow, we have linked them for you. For this episode, we made it our task to develop a workflow that automatically moves a customer who places an order over 1000€ into the customer group “regular customers” in JTL-Wawi. This gets a little more complex, so pay close attention from now on and read to the very end.

These requirements must be met in advance

The requirements that must be met are as follows: You need a customer group called “regular customers” or whatever you want to call it. In addition, the manual workflow for the customer group must already be created. If you are interested in what manual workflows are, how they differ and how you create them, write it in the comments and we will make a separate video about it. As we can see in our case, the manual regular customer workflow has already been created. We now want to use this by triggering this manual workflow as soon as a customer places an order of more than 1000€.

For this we go, as in our first video already on orders > Created and create a new one. We give them a meaningful name, like “Regular customer have 1000€”. Our condition is that the customer pays more than 1000€, so we will look at the order > order items > items > for the gross or total price. The operator is then greater than. Since we want this workflow to trigger not at exactly 1000€ but above. Now comes the exciting part – the action. We want the customer to be assigned to the “Regular customers” customer group if the total price is gross. This can only be done as an action with a manual workflow that must be configured beforehand. Therefore, we select Workflow Event and pick our reference object that I showed you before. At the end just save and test if necessary. Your workflow is already active for the selected JTL products.
