What are plugins anyway?
Plugins are extensions to your store that can have small functions, such as resizing the logo, or more complex functions, such as creating a test environment. These plugins can be used to simplify or improve administrative processes. In addition, plugins can help evaluate and improve the performance of the online store. Various language packages are available for installation. Also, templates and themes can be modified and customized using plugins, and importantly, you can also create your own plugins. As simple as the integration may seem at first glance, it is absolutely not advisable to install a Shopware plugin in a store while it is running.
