What is the Shortcuts app from Apple?
But now to the app creation. The basis for this is Apple’s own Shortcuts app.
This is accordingly free for every iOS user and can be downloaded from the App Store as usual.
Therefore, the first step is to check that you have it installed on your smartphone. If you have never heard of it, you should definitely take a closer look at it. This allows e.g. create useful automations yourself.
Like e.g. that a voice command is issued every time you connect the charging cable. But back to the topic. So that you don’t have to create a complex automation yourself, we’ve put a link in the description that is a pre-built shortcut. With this you can create all the apps yourself. Do you want to e.g. have an app for your own website on your homescreen, it is possible with this command. If you now have “Make App from URL” in your shortcuts, click on it once. Give your app a name, so in our case “ChatGPT”. Then copy the URL from your browser, i.e. “chat.openai.com” and paste it here. To make your app look like a real ChatGPT app, search for the ChatGPT logo on Google by typing “ChatGPT Logo PNG”.
Configure ChatGPT iOS App
Download this and go back to the Cure Commands app. Now select the logo. In the next step, the automatic mechanisms take effect in the background and a suitable configuration profile is downloaded. For this you have to give your consent as administrator. So click on “Allow”. Now your profile will be uploaded and ready in the settings, as you will see in a moment. There we click on it and again click on Install in the upper right corner. To verify this step, you must enter your code. Follow the rest of the steps as seen here and you will have your own ChatGPT iOS app in your apps. We will call this once and will see that it is also rensposive, so for example. has a burger menu, with which you can use all the functions as on the PC or Mac.
