Different approaches
The cache in Shopware 6 can be cleared in several ways. This can be done on the one hand by a command via the console of the server and on the other hand via the Shopware 6 Shop Administration. First, let’s see how to clear the cache via the administration: First of all, you need to log in to your store’s administration. After logging in, go to Settings and click on the “System” tab. Next, select Caches & Indexes. In the new view, click on the “Clear caches” button and the cache will be cleared.
Clear the store cache via the console
Let’s move on to the second variant: In addition to the way described above, the cache can also be cleared via the server’s console. The CLI command for this path is like this:
php bin/console cache:clear
With this variant, it should be equally remembered to warm up the cache again. To warm up, the corresponding CLI command is like this:
php bin/console cache:warmup
If you are not very familiar with using the server’s console, we recommend that you clear your store’s cache using the first option.
