How do I install Shopware?

Install Shopware – Learn how to install your Shopware store in under 4 minutes in our screencast tutorial. Either follow the step-by-step Shopware installation guide below the video or use the Shopware video itself to get to your Shopware store.

Step 1: Select the language of your Shopware store

The Shopware installation starts with the selection of the desired language of your store.

Step 2: Check system requirements

The system requirements are fulfilled if all visible fields are highlighted in green. If one of the fields is marked red, this indicates that your PC does not meet the minimum system requirements or that something went wrong when uploading the data.

Step 3: Database configuration

Enter your database server and fill in the empty fields with your database username and password.

Step 4: Shopware license query

If you have already purchased a paid Shopware version, you can select it here. If this is not the case, then you have the option to continue with the free Community Edition.

Step 4: Shopware basic setup

In this step we get closer and closer to our own Shopware store by defining the name of the store. In addition, the desired currency, e-mail address and the necessary admin data must be specified.

If you have followed these four steps, you have successfully installed your Shopware Shop.
