How do I create a Shopify account?

Shopify – the popular store system from the Canadian company of the same name – serves as the basis for your own online store. If you also want to create a Shopify store for your medium or small business, then this guide might be something for you. In our Shopify Screencast Tutorial we show you step by step how to create your Shopify account.

Step 1: Enter email address

To create your Shopify account, you first need to enter your email address directly on the home page.

Step 2: Enter contact details

The second step is to add your full name and enter a password that is as secure as possible. To continue the process of creating your Shopify account, click Create Account once.

Step 3: Indiviualization query

To help Shopify better categorize your company, you can provide more information about it here. If you don’t want to do that, you can simply skip the step by clicking Skip.

Step 4: Enter default business address

Here you can enter your business data: address, phone number and your domain if available.
