Google Ads advertising credit to relieve corona crisis

To help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) stay in touch with their customers during this difficult time, Google wants to help. To do this, Google is providing SMEs worldwide with advertising credits totaling $340 million that can be used for future ad spend across the Google Ads platform through the end of 2020. Google sees its responsibility and is now supporting SMEs, healthcare organizations, governments, as well as healthcare workers who are on the front lines of the fight against the pandemic.

If you want to find out how much your advertising credit is, just log in to your Google Ads account. Click the tool icon at the top and then click Coupon Codes under Billing.
Who can get Google Ads advertising credit?
The Google Ads advertising credits are intended for small and medium-sized businesses worldwide that served ads through a Google Ads account in at least 10 months in 2019 and January and/or February 2020.
Do I need to apply for Google Ads advertising credit?
No application or action is required.
How much is the Google Ads advertising credit?
The amount of Google Ads advertising credit depends on the customer’s previous Google Ads spending, the country in their billing address, and the currency of the Google Ads account. Each eligible customer will receive a maximum promotional credit of $1,000.00. We are already aware of Google Ads advertising credits in the amount of between €80.00 and €680.00.
How long is the Google Ads advertising credit valid?
The promotional credits can be used until December 31, 2020. After December 31, 2020, the unused portion of the credits will expire and will no longer be available in the Google Ads account.
