Shopify Matrixify App - What can the app do?

The following article is about Matrixify – a bulk import and export app specifically for Shopify. Whether Product data, collections, customer data, B2B company data, discounts, draft orders, orders, payouts, pages, blogs, redirects, activities, files or meta fields – Matrixify gives you the basis to transfer all this data.
Supported systems include Magento, WordPress/WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Lightspeed and others.

Shopify Matrixify App - Switch from WooCommerce to Shopify

In the video above, we discuss the YouTube video from the Matrixify YouTube channel. This shows how easy it is to migrate from WooCommerce to Shopify. The Matrixify app must first be installed in the Shopify store. You then create a new Rest API key. You then transfer this data to the Matrixify import window within your Shopify admin area. This means you first enter your consumer key, then your consumer secret code and finally the WooCommerce store URL in the bar and click on Upload. This will register your data in Shopify. You now have several options, either to import the data directly or to have a CSV file created, which you can then customize afterwards. We select the dry run for this. The video points out that images that were created in WooCommerce in the product description have now been rewritten to a Shopify URL using Matrixify. This is why you will also receive a picture folder with the CSV download. You can then upload this in the settings under Files. The links are then created automatically, as you can see here, when you refresh the page.

You can revise the CSV file as follows

Once you have checked your CSV file, you can uncheck the Dry Run box in the Matrixify app and finally transfer your data. Should there have been any transmission problems, you will be notified directly here and the reason for this will be listed. You can also use Matrixify to clone your existing Shopify store, for example. to create a staging environment. You can also schedule import and export jobs and have them executed automatically, but you also have the option of monitoring these processes at any time while they are taking place.

Shopify Matrixify App - The costs

But what will it cost you?
Matrixify can be used free of charge for 10 components at a time. This means you can simply test it out and form your own opinion. If you then want to use the app for more products, this varies from 5,000 products to the Unlimited Plan.
This then costs 200$ per month. However, the Basic Plan is available from $20 and the Big Plan from $50. With currently 4.8 out of 5 stars and 486 ratings, Matrixify seems to have won over users. So if you’re thinking about migrating, try it out and see for yourself.
