Shopware 6 Automatic stock notification

Here's how

In this video, we show you how to create a workflow in Shopware 6 so that automatic stock notifications are sent as soon as a paid order is received. If you have not worked with the Shopware Flow Builder before, our detailed sequence is also linked again.

Shopware 6 Automatic stock notification - Create flow

Here we are now in our Shopware admin area and go directly to our settings. We open the Flow Builder and create a new workflow. We call this “warehouse info”, set a priority and activate it directly, as we want to use it from now on. To define the workflow, we go to the “Flow” tab. Our trigger should be that an order has been paid for, as only then can the goods be dispatched. We can find this trigger under “Status achieved” -> Order transaction -> And this should be set to “Paid”. Now we want to create an action that should take place when the trigger is triggered.

Define actions

On the one hand, the delivery bill should already be generated. So we add an action, namely “Create document”, a “delivery bill” to be precise. But the warehouse is not yet informed, so we add another action, namely “Send e-mail”. If you have already created an e-mail template for this in advance, this can be selected here and, if necessary, the delivery bill can also be attached directly as a document. We don’t have it yet, which is why we are using any template for this tutorial. Now, as a further action, the status can be set to “dispatched”, as the warehouse has been informed and the goods have been dispatched.
