This blog complements our other blog articles or screencasts, such as. the blog entry about creating articles in Shopware 6.
There were several manufacturers to choose from. However, these can also be created individually for your store. That’s why we want to explain to you here how it works.
In the administration area, the manufacturers are located under the main item Catalogs.
As with the other catalog subsectionsbefore, we get an overall view here. In that case, an overall view of the manufacturers already created. With the context menu the individual manufacturers can be edited or also deleted. Please note, however, that manufacturers who use e.g.. articles were assigned and still are, cannot be deleted. Removes this link beforehand in the articles to be able to delete the manufacturer then.

Create a new manufacturer in Shopware 6

We create a new manufacturer for this video with the blue button in the upper right corner and here we have the possibility to integrate the name, the logo, the website of the respective manufacturer and a description. The only field that is mandatory to fill in is the name field. Everything else is optional.
