How to design a Shopify page and place it in the footer

How to create Shopify pages
Besides the product creation, which we had already discussed in one of our blogs, one process is at least as relevant – the page creation. This is what we will address in this blog. If you click on your online store in the left column, the submenus to be edited will open. We are interested in the pages. To create a new page in our Shopify store, we click Add Page. The design is relatively simple, which plays into our cards. You give the page a name and fill in the description according to your wishes. We can do this for example once for the team side. The handy thing about Shopify is that there is a SERPs view right below the description. That is, you can edit here what, for example. to be displayed in Google search results and thus actively contribute to the improvement of your SEO. If you are not yet too familiar with Shopify SEO, you can use our page to get more information. . If you want to display the page directly in the frontend, it can remain visible, otherwise you can leave it hidden. At the end do not forget to save.
Create Shopify pages using the contact page as an example
If you want to create a contact page, you can use a predefined form, which you can find under “Templates” on the right side. Select“page.contact” here. To see how the page will look like in the end, you can use the preview button in the upper right corner.
If we go to the “Pages” tab again, we see the overview of our pages created so far.
The existence of these pages in the backend is all well and good, but of no use to the visitor if he can’t get to them.
Therefore, we go to the navigation to the Footer menu, add a new menu item, name it Contact and navigate to our just created page. With the eye icon next to our online store, we can see a holistic preview view of our store. If we scroll all the way down, we see that the footer integration has worked and we can access our contact page.
