Shopware Bundle Articles for Shopware 5 and 6

Now back to our bundles. What bundle items are and where the advantages are for you as well as for your customers we already explained in our Shopify tutorial. If you missed it, you can also find the link to the video in the upper right corner. But how can this be implemented for Shopware?
For Shopware 5, there is an extension intended for the Professional Plan called Bundle. Thus, it was also developed and supported by Shopware AG itself. Unfortunately, there is no 6 successor for Shopware 6 yet, which is why we fall back on the app from our already known manufacturer “digitvision”. Here these bundles or sets are called and can be used for Shopware 6. But what does this extension allow you to do?

The advantages of this extension

You can combine as many individual items as you like into one discounted bundle item. Even in the shopping cart, your customers are shown directly how much they are actually saving. The use is also very simple. As soon as you have purchased a license for the “Article Bundles / Sets” extension and installed this app, you will find the sub-item Bundles in the Catalogs menu. Here you can easily create new bundles. Once the creation is complete, these new bundles can be assigned to specific items. You do this by editing a specific item and then going to the new “Bundles” tab. Here, up to three bundles can be assigned to one article.

This is how much this extension costs

The whole thing can then look like this in the product detail page. This is a great thing that can be easily integrated into the Christmas shopping season and saves customers from having to scramble around. In terms of price, you can choose between the rental version for 39€ incl. trial month or use the plugin permanently for a one-time fee of 299€. What are your experiences with bundle or set items? Is it worth the extra effort? Or do you see it rather as a sales method that sounds good, but rather brings nothing? Write it to us in the comments. If there are any questions, you can also write them in the comments. Otherwise, let our Shopware experts advise you, should the shoe pinch with you in another place.
