What is Google SGE? - We explain the new feature
Behind this is the Search Generative Experience search, which uses generative AI to summarize relevant and informative search results in an area above the organic search results. And this is where all online retailers who depend on SEO should listen up. For the SERPs – the Search Engine Result Pages – the higher a result is, the more attention it receives. This is why classic Google Ads ads are also displayed above the organic first place. But now it could be the case that the SGE results will soon be displayed above the organic rank 1 in Germany too. What is Google SGE? - The advantages
So far, Google’s new SGE feature is being tested in 120 other countries in addition to the USA, India and Japan.
But what exactly is the advantage?

So now you know what the Search Generative Experience feature is, but we can’t yet tell you whether it will be rolled out in Germany at all, and therefore when.
However, we can now give you 5 tips on what you should optimize in order to be prepared for a possible release in Germany.
Tip #1 is general SEO: That means stick to the basics first. To be considered for the SBU results, you should be on the first page for this keyword. It does not always have to be the top 3 results that are taken into account, sometimes places on the first page below are also included. This means make sure you have a good Domain Authority Score. You can improve this by regularly creating and publishing high-quality, value-added content. But backlinks also play an important role. If other sites link to you, this gives you trust. There are also technical aspects such as loading time, internal links and compliance with the Core Web Vitals. Tip #2: To explicitly aim to be included in the SBU snippet, you should answer the question you want to rank for relatively high up on your page, briefly and clearly. Tip #3: To do justice to tip #2, there are 2 approaches. Either you write a blog for each question. So for example. “What is the best camera for beginners?” Or “What light do I need for my YouTube videos?”. Or you can summarize all aspects in a loading page or a long blog and integrate them at the top of the page like a table of contents.
