- The customer places an order in the online store

- The dropshipping provider processes the order
- The order is sent from the dropshipping provider to the customer
So dropshippers usually have no physical contact with the product. This e-commerce strategy is thus in direct contrast to traditional retailing, where goods are ordered in large quantities, stored and then shipped to the customer.

If you click on “order” in the last step, the goods will be shipped directly from the AliExpress dropshipping supplier to the customer. Shopify, however, also offers a whole range of other dropshipping apps in addition to Oberlo, which means that they fulfill all wishes on the subject.
