Connect Shopify with eBay
Connect Shopify with eBay, sync your items and process them further in Shopify – that’s what we’ll show you in this screencast.

What do you need to connect eBay and Shopify?
The basis for connecting the eBay marketplace with the Shopify store system is the possession of an eBay seller account and a Shopify account. To connect the two to each other, go to your Shopify backend. There you have the possibility to view your linked sales channels in the left column. If eBay is not yet displayed underneath, click the “X” next to Sales Channels. This will open a new window where you can add your distribution channels. Select eBay there. Once eBay is added as an icon to your sales channels in the left column, click on it once and press the“connect” button.
eBay and Shopify are now successfully connected
Now you need to enter your eBay seller account login information and then fill out the contact form. Don’t forget to click Save at the end and then continue as follows.
As soon as a drop-down menu is added to the main eBay item, you can be sure that your eBay account has been connected. Therefore, now click Account and customize your business policies.
You can also enter the return policy and payment terms under the item.
Shopify and eBay import and export
If you want to synchronize your optimized data with your eBay account, click on “Force synchronization with eBay” in the upper right corner.
You can control item import and export by going to Publish in the left column under eBay and clicking “Review and publish all products” or clicking “Update now” on the bottom panel.
Import via CSV
If you want to import products via CSV, you can do this under Products -> Import and drag and drop the .csv file. Afterwards these are available under the eBay listings and can be optimized for the search engines. Everything about eBay SEO can be found in our article.
