Have your Shopware Shop translated automatically
With the Shopware language packs, text modules such as the “shopping cart” button can be translated automatically in Shopware. Where to find them for your language store, how to install them and which elements are not translated automatically, you can find out in this screencast. Install Shopware language packs in the Shopware backend
The first step in our Shopware backend is to install the French Shopware language pack in our Plugin Manager. Therefore, we go to Plugin Manager and enter the term “internationalization“. For our subshop that we created in the last episode, we now need the French language pack. Click on Install and Activate and clear the cache so that the changes are shown to us directly in the frontend.

That’s where we go now and notice that most of it has been translated by the Shopware language packs, like for example. the shopping cart button. This does not affect the individual store pages, which are also displayed in the footer. How you adapt these linguistically, I show now once.
Shopware language packs do not translate the store pages
Back in the backend, we go to content and store pages. In our case, we want to customize the T&C page once, so in the left column below, select column 1, T&C and press the globe. With French we select the French subshop and enter the French translation. Then press Save and Close , clear the cache and as we can see the entry in the footer, as well as the page itself has been changed. You can now go through this process for all other pages and should be one step closer to internationalization. So if you have now manually translated all the fields not translated by the Shopware language packs into the desired language, you should be well prepared.
