Add Shopify products

Add Shopify products made easy in our screencast tutorial. If you are just getting to know Shopify as your preferred store system, then a basic feature is adding products. With our guide, you should be able to add products to your store on Shopify in no time.

How do I add products to Shopify?

In the backend of your Shopify store, you need to go to All Products in the left column under the main Products item. Here you get the possibility to add one of your articles with the button Add product .

Title, description, media

Here you can enter the appropriate title, the description of your product and, for example, the name of the product. a picture of your product can be inserted. Furthermore, in this window you can add more basics to your article, such as the price, the item number and the weight.

Organization of your Shopify products

For better organization of your Shopify products, you should select the product type in the right column, define the vendor and assign your product to the appropriate category. Tags should also definitely be used to make it easier to find certain products in the end.

Monitoring of your Shopify product in the frontend

As soon as you have clicked on Save in the upper right corner, your product is integrated. So now that you have added your first product on Shopify, you can view it by clicking on the eye next to Online Store in the left column.
