With the Shopify DPD app “easyDPD” you can not only easily print DPD shipping labels directly in the Shopify backend, but also have delivery bills and invoices created. Find out what else the Shopify DPD app from 247 Apps has to offer in this tutorial.
Shopify DPD App "easyDPD" - easyDHL Review
We already introduced you to the DHL app for Shopify from the company 247 Apps. With this you can not only create and print shipping and returns labels, but also create invoices, delivery bills and much more. For all those who do not rely on DHL, but DPD or both, we have good news. The official system partner 247 App has also developed an extension for Shopify for DPD, which we would like to demonstrate to you in this video. You can find this app normally in the Shopify App Store and can download it here and integrate it into your Shopify backend.
The features
Also with this we have the possibility to make shipping and return labels. Another useful feature is tracking. As soon as a shipping label is created, the shipment is executed and the corresponding shipment number is stored. Delivery bills, handover documents and invoices can be created with this in the sense of your CI. If we scroll down a bit we can see the overview of other features, where it says that shipping labels can be created with just 2 clicks. You can try that out for yourself.
Shopify DPD App "easyDPD" - Create shipping label
In the backend, the easyDPD app is logically located under Apps. Here we see our orders and want to create a shipping label for a specific one now. So we go on the item and count a click and click on the button “Create shipping label”. And lo and behold, it only took us 2 clicks to find our label ready in the download folder. If you now click on Show Details, you will see the tracking ID here. I don’t think you can get much more efficient than that. That means we can definitely confirm the point in the feature overview. You don’t even have to send the ID on your own, because DPD informs the recipient about the status. On the 247apps homepage, even more functions are listed, such as… the bulk version. This means that you can process up to 50 orders at once and create shipping labels. To do this, simply check the ones you want or automatically check all of them and then uncheck the ones you don’t want. After that you just have to click on “Create shipping labels”. This, at the latest, is how the app earned its name.
The setting options
Finally, we want to show you the settings options. Here you can manage your DPD access data, adjust your shipping settings and configure your documents. For example for your invoices your logo can be included here. In the end, you can upgrade or downgrade your tariff. For the time being, the app can be tested by anyone for the first 30 labels. If you don’t always want to look at how many labels there are this month, then we recommend the Ultimate Plan for $49. This means that all functions are available without restrictions. However, if you know for sure that there will be only 200 or 400 labels each month, you can save yourself some money and opt for the Basic or Professional plan.
