Manage cross-country sales centrally in the Shopify store
Shopify Markets Pro extends the capabilities of the cross-country management tools offered by Shopify Markets. In addition to the tools that help you set up and manage sales in international markets, Shopify Markets Pro offers additional features that now allow you to offer all products internationally from one store.

Because this innovation is at the same time an enormous relief for international online retailers. How so? We’ll tell you in a moment.
Shopify Markets Pro - What's New?
This is a Shopify Markets customization. But what’s the big change in that? Shopify Markets already existed. You can see what Shopify Markets is all about in our detailed video about it. So it was possible to sell via Shopify to England, to the Netherlands, to France and so on. But for some products it was not possible to display them for global markets. But that is now changing. As you can see here, you only have to in- or exclude the individual products for the respective markets. Now you can manage your products globally in a centralized way.
What is Shopify Markets Pro?
But that’s not all, in addition to Shopify Market, Shopify Market Pro is now being launched. This simply takes away all the hassles of selling internationally, which can include local currency, payment providers, domain extensions, taxes, regulations and much more. But how can you imagine this. All products are managed in your Shopify store. This is then transferred to Shopify Marktet, which prepares all the necessary data for each market. So far, 150 different countries are offered. When you sell, you will receive the money back in your own currency at the end. But how can you make this happen for you?
How you can use it
To do this, go to “Markets” in the settings and click “Apply” for Shopify Markets Pro.
Then you need to choose your preferred methods for printing shipping labels. Once you’ve been approved for the program, select the markets you want to sell in and you’re ready to go. But let’s take a look at this in detail. With Shopify Markets, you can select individual countries as markets or view continents as an overall market.
However, attention is also paid to whether there are any import restrictions. This means that it also acts as an international legal safeguard, whereby the buyers then only see what they are allowed to buy. This can be e.g. apply to THC products that would be legal to purchase in California, but would not be legal in Germany, for example. not. Or pocket knives, which are not a problem in the Czech Republic and Poland, but are in other European countries.
Shopify Markets Pro - Fulfillment Options
However, even though Shopify Markets Pro automates everything, it doesn’t mean you have to blindly adopt it that way. You can make any regional adjustments you want. What is also often a vexed issue are customs duties and other levies. These will be collected directly at checkout with Shopify Markets Pro.
You can choose from a range of fulfillment options. Either Shopify Shipping, Shopify Fulfillment Network, an external logistics partner or an API connection. If you want to try it out now, go into the settings, click on Markets, click on “Gets Started” and “Apply for Markets Pro”.
