By the way, this isn’t the first time Twitter and Shopify have worked together. Back in 2015, the “Buy Now” button was integrated on Twitter, but then discontinued in 2017. Possible speculations are being raised that this new push of a cooperation could be related to Elon Musk’s takeover, who already spoke positively about ad-free monetizations within the platform.
