What are Instagram Reels Ads?

Instagram Reels is a feature that has been available here for over a year now. It was introduced to respond to TikTok. Through Reels, Instagram hoped to keep up with the TikTok hype and keep users on their platform. After a few months now, the feature has established itself and Instagram users are using it millions of times. A few weeks ago, Instagram finally started using Reels as ads in select countries as well. Now the Reels Ads feature is available worldwide.Since Reels are best for reaching new users and growing organically, they are ideal as ads.

Instagram Reels Ads for Business

Reels Ads are designed not only to help companies reach larger audiences, but also to suggest new inspiring content from creators and brands to users at the same time. Similar to Story Ads, Reels Ads should also be displayed between individual Reels. They are broadcast in full vertical format and played in a continuous loop like regular reels. The maximum length of such a video is 30 seconds. Also, users can like, save, share and comment on the Reels Ads normally. Reels ads are broadcast where regular reels are also displayed. So you can find them in the Reels tab and also as previews on the Explore feed. If you open this preview, the reel will be played with sound in full screen mode on your phone, just like in the Reels tab.
