Use individual Custom Audience for Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads

Shopify Audiences helps you find your unique audience to stop burning money on ads. With Shopify Audiences, you use customer data that is interested in a product to target them with Facebook / Instagram Ads.

Shopify is changing a lot in the near future, new tools, new store possibilities and much more. We will always keep you up to date on this. Today we start with the first tool that seems promising at first sight. Reaching the right customers and not throwing money down the drain in marketing is something that would probably make any retailer happy. That’s exactly what Shopify Audiences now promises. A tool that is included in the Shopify Plus scope, which is also told to us by the Shopify Plus Exclusive badget.

What does Shopify Audiences do?

But what exactly does the tool do?
It collects customer data on a specific product in order to filter out the right people for your advertising campaigns. However, the personal data is not made available for viewing at any time, but is encrypted.
You can then use this data for Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns. This means that you lower the conversion costs, since the right customers who are interested in a certain assortment are already targeted. The algorithm is constantly improving, so it learns over time. Furthermore, these filtered customers can then be up-scaled via Lookalike Audience to reach even more potential customers with interest. How to create them in the Shopify admin area

These audiences can then be created directly in the Shopify admin area. To do this, go to the apps on Shopify Audiences, just click on Create Audience, select the product, enter a name for this Audience and export it to use it for Facebook or Instagram Ads. In-depth experience is therefore not required here. But are there any restrictions or things you should keep in mind?

Shopify Audiences - The Requirements

So far, this feature is only available to U.S.- or Canada-based Shopify Plus merchants who uses Shopify Payments. It is not yet clear if and when the feature will be rolled out in Germany. Also, you can’t create any number of wasted audiences. You have a certain number of possible audiences that you can create within 7 days. After that the counter is reset.
