Are you an online retailer active on Facebook or Google and want to increase your organic reach? Organic reach refers to the people who have seen an unpaid post on a corresponding Facebook page. Organic reach is sustainable. It involves real people interacting on social media channels. You have the opportunity to create organic traffic on both Facebook and Google. In addition to organic reach, a distinction is made between paid reach and post reach. Paid reach describes the number of people on whose screen paid posts from your page are displayed. The post reach, on the other hand, gives an indication of how many individuals have seen posts on your page.
On Facebook, you can create a group in addition to a fan page. Facebook groups are a good option for taking your first steps towards a community. If you invest some time and also deliver competent content to the group, you can achieve organic growth with this opportunity. So it’s always worth setting up your own group. because members can become potential customers. And that is as soon as they realize that you can offer professional topics and also solutions. Depending on what industry you belong to, you can get a lot of traffic with your own brand. To generate more reach organically, you can find and use relevant and on-topic tags. What you should be aware of is that different video formats work better or worse on different channels. Many users are on the move these days. If you upload a video from YouTube to Facebook, only a third of the image may be seen. Therefore, use a square aspect ratio for Facebook to fill as much screen space as possible on mobile devices. In general, you should always keep in mind how important mobile versions have become. Think about a morning train ride to work. How many people look at their smartphone and engage with different content? A tip for this: set subtitles if your time allows. Often it is not possible to play a video with sound on the go. If a user finds subtitles, the chance that he will continue watching increases.
In the end, you always have to decide for yourself how much time and money you can invest in it. Whether it’s worth it for you to produce a professional YouTube video with subtitles. In the best case you should achieve 80% of the results with 20% of the total effort, this is what the Pareto principle says. If you don’t have a lot of budget, especially in the beginning, it’s always better to start with little than to do nothing at all. Of course, you want perfect results to reach multiple channels with them at once. For the beginning, however, it is quite sufficient to start a test run with one variant, in order to perhaps even learn from the first mistakes and become better in the end. You learn a lot only with the existing process, find new tools and relevant knowledge.
