Shopify and DATEV

Shopify cannot be connected directly to DATEV. Apps from other developers are necessary for this. Some are stand-alone solutions, others require an ERP system. Read here to find out which apps are right for you and how they can benefit you.

Shopify DATEV with Pathway Solutions

The Pathway Solutions app offers you a lot of advantages:

Retrieve and validate your sales directly from Shopify
Automatic customer/debtor assignment
Validation of tax data (e.g. for orders from abroad)
Automatic validation of payments and refunds through connection of all common payment methods

All data is made available to your tax consultant as a DATEV-friendly download. He just has to upload them there and the bookings are done.

Shopify DATEV with JERA

If you use JTL-Wawi as an ERP system, the JTL2DATEV may already be a term. With the help of this plugin you can have all accounting data transferred to your tax advisor in DATEV format.

Shopify2DATEV is the suitable extension to also fetch the order data from Shopify and match it with the payments in JTL-Wawi. This automatic assignment significantly reduces the workload for you and your tax advisor. The customer payments are assigned to the debtors in JTL-Wawi and the posting batches are provided in the DATEV-friendly format.

Outsource accounting

If you need something more than just DATEV export, you should outsource the accounting completely. Here you can fall back on providers such as billbee, easybill or sevDesk. They offer you more convenience in creating quotes and invoices, work partly cloud-based and integrate seamlessly with Shopify.

sevDesk takes a detour via an app, billbee and easybill can be connected directly to Shopify via the respective backend. You can also use these other portals to export your data to DATEV.
