The difference between Influencer and Ambassador is that Influencers usually only work with a brand for one project or campaign. An Ambassador is a long-term representative of a brand.

In German, an Ambassador is a brand ambassador. This person represents the company in public and is the interface between the customer and the brand. Their role here is marketing, building trust with a brand and introducing new products and features. Due to the proximity to the company’s target group, it is important that potential customers associate the Ambassador with the brand in the long term. Thus, customers buy out of trust in the Ambassador or simply because the Ambassador also uses the brand’s product. The type of Ambassador a company chooses depends on the brand’s product or style. Also take a close look at how followers interact and respond to difficult conversations or criticism in the comments. The last important point to consider is offline interaction. For example, research what events the potential candidate attends and whether they align with your company’s efforts.
You should definitely consider all these important points when looking for a suitable Ambassador. If you are ready to hire an Ambassador, it is important that you first of all work out a long-term cooperation in which you agree on very clear ideas and conditions, and make sure that they are written down in a contract.
