osCommerce basic equipment
After the installation, you will only have a rudimentary system at your disposal, whose design seems a bit old-fashioned. osCommerce multilingualism
Basically, it is possible to select a different language and currency for your online store, but these settings are global. Managing multiple language stores in one installation, as is the case with Shopware, is not possible at all with osCommerce.
So if you want your store to appear in other languages as well, you need multiple installations – one for each language. Although these can appear at different addresses, www.onlineshop.de/de/ , they are independent of each other, which significantly increases the maintenance effort.
