In this blog article we will demonstrate the Gambio 2 DATEV interface from JERA. This can be purchased on the JERA site and downloaded afterwards, but you are also welcome to try it out for free as a trial version first. To do this, enter your contact details and complete the download at the end.
Preparations for the installation of the Gambio DATEV interface
Then you should also find the Gambio 2 DATEV Installer Order, in which the installation file is located. Open it with a double-click, accept the license agreement after you have read it thoroughly, select the desired installation type in the next step, i.e. whether complete or custom, and click on install. This will complete the installation process. Complete this by clicking on “Finish”.
Installation of the FIBU software
Now you would already be able to open the software, but you still need to place the php files in the root directory of your Gambio store. We use an FTP client for this purpose. By default you can find the files in your programs folder under“WSDATEV Export” and“php“. Copy these files, go to your FTP client and paste them into the root directory. Then open your webshop FIBU interface software, go to Setup and Webshop. Insert your Gambia Shop URL. You can also test beforehand whether this is also recognized by clicking on “Test Shop URL“.
Save the changes and read your receipts. Of course, you can also specify a certain voucher period in advance, in the field provided for this purpose in the upper left corner. To read out the documents we click on the gear icon.
To subsequently export this invoice to DATEV format, we click on the icon for DATEV format. Once you get the message that they have been successfully exported, you can open Windows Explorer with the third icon and you will see your invoices, which you now only need to send to your tax advisor.
