Get rid of Instagram spam - alternative # 1
Let’s start with how to get rid of spam group messages. You can easily turn them off. To do this, simply go to the settings and then to privacy. Now press Messages and select “Only people you follow” under the “Allow others to add you to groups” selection. And that’s it. This is how easy it is to get rid of spam group messages.
Get rid of bot comments
Next, there are bot comments. On Instagram, it’s commonplace for posts to get comments that are lewd, kinky, or just plain spam. Among them can be calls to look at an account, check your DMs or there you just see the peach emoji. To get rid of these types of comments, you need to remember the phrases that are typically commented by bots. These are usually always the same. Then go to the privacy settings on Instagram and press comments. Under “Filter” you activate the manual filter here, where you can insert the typical phrases of the bots. If you get new spam comments in the future, just add them to the list. This way you will get rid of the annoying comments over time.
Fake followers are harmful - here's how to get rid of them
Finally, we come to the fake followers. Fake followers are not only annoying, they are also harmful to your engagement. To get rid of them, you need the Creator profile as a prerequisite. To do this, go to Setting, press Creator, and then go to Minimum Age. Here you now set a minimum age for the typical countries from which the fake followers come. The typical countries for us here in Germany are India, Mexico and Thailand. For example, select 18 years, because fake profiles in most cases do not have an age specified. Since you do not have the appropriate age, they will not be able to follow you.
