More than half of the year is over, yet there are still many interesting trade fairs for companies and individual entrepreneurs from e-commerce. Two major trade fairs in Germany in particular are worth a visit. In addition, exciting events are still being held in other European countries. Both large and small companies can benefit from a trade fair presence in the long term.

DMEXCO – Digital Marketing Exposition & Conference Cologne (21.09. – 22.09.2022)

Every year, DMEXCO is one of the most important trade fairs in the field of marketing. The hybrid trade fair invites exhibitors, industry experts and interested parties alike and offers the opportunity to exchange views on the future development of the digital industry. In addition to practice-oriented master classes, trade fair visitors can also look forward to numerous lectures by top international speakers. In addition to Dr. Sven Hasselmann, (Director Digital Marketing and Analytics DB Vertrieb GmbH), Dr. Karsten Wildberger (CEO MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group) and Sir Martin Sorrell (CEO & Founder of Capital and WPP), many other well-known leaders will be on stage.

MultichannelDay Cologne (01.09.2022)

MultichannelDay is also an important event for the industry. This year, a total of more than 100 international exhibitors are expected, proof that the interest is growing every year. Industry experts, companies and interested parties can get an all-round view of the different platforms and the future of multichannel on 01.09.2022. Other thematic focuses this year include social commerce, niche commerce and brand building.

Many trade fairs are now held both at the respective trade fair venue and virtually. In this respect, it can be quite interesting to also visit international trade fairs, such as the eTrade Show 2022 in Warsaw or the C+UX 2022 in London, if not physically, but virtually.

eTrade Show 2022 Warsaw (22.09 – 23.09.2022)

The eTrade Show 2022 offers two days of conferences and numerous educational opportunities for companies and interested parties. The sixth event of its kind will offer more space than ever before from Sept. 22 to Sept. 23, 2022. Last year, the eTrade Show already attracted more than 7696 visitors on a total of 114 m². A further increase is expected this year.

C+UX 2022 London (22.11 – 23.11.2022)

The Customer & User Experience Expo in London will bring together a total of 2021 speakers from Nov. 22 to Nov. 23, 2022, to share with attendees about the importance and future of customer and user experience. Visitors can expect an open keynote theater, the NFON networking area for mutual exchange, as well as a VIP area, which is specifically aimed at marketing professionals.

The potential of trade fairs should also be used by small companies

Despite or even because of digitalization, trade fairs are still an important factor for companies.

Many companies, especially small ones, shy away from trade show appearances, often because they have misconceptions about their role as exhibitors. Experience has shown that the design of a trade fair stand has a major influence on the success of the trade fair presentation. However, even companies with a limited budget can benefit from the advantages of a trade fair if they purchase a mobile trade fair stand, for example. This eliminates the need for cost-intensive construction of a permanently installed exhibition stand and the mobile exhibition stand can be used at subsequent trade fairs.
